Age Limit General Regulations You must obtain approval from Air China to travel with an infant. The infant should be over 14 days old and if premature, over 90 days old. The accompanied child/infant must be in the same cabin as the accompanying adult. If the accompanying adult is not in the same cabin, then you must follow unaccompanied children procedures. Ticket Price Services Child and infant meals are available. Please request these special meals during your ticket reservation.
If you require additional services for your child or infant, please contact Air China and we would be happy to try and accommodate your request. Unaccompanied MinorsGeneral Regulations If your child is traveling alone, our unaccompanied minor service will put your mind at ease. The unaccompanied minor service is for children who are above the age of 5 and under the age of 12 that will be traveling without an adult. Please request this service from Air China in advance, otherwise we will not be able to take responsibility for your child during travel. If desired, the unaccompanied minor service is available for travelers over the age of 12 and under the age of 18. To request the unaccompanied minor service, please fill out an application at the local business department at least 24 hours before departure. In order to have enough time to get the service set-up properly, we suggest you apply in advance of 24 hours before departure. As a parent or guardian, you will need to show identification and valid travel documents for the child to apply for the unaccompanied minor service. You will need to arrange for someone to pick-up your child at the final destination. Service Fees
Services We ensure that your child will be taken care of for the entire flight. If there are any irregularities with the flight, we will appoint someone to arrange for accommodation and transportation for your child.
