International Air Cargo Freight From/to Japan (Applicable April 1, 2011)
Air China Cargo has set new pricing standards for air freight to and from Japan as a result of the expiration of the company's exemption from the international airline pricing anti-trust law. The revised standards were approved by the government on March 28, 2011. (Approval No. 3531 issued by Director, International Air Transport Division, Civil Aviation Bureau, MLIT)
Please take note that beginning April 1, 2011 (Friday) the following standards will apply:

Air freight bills issued after April 1, 2011 (Friday) |
| 3. Carrier Freight |
The shipping rate schedule and IATA Agreement which expire on March 31, 2011 will be reset to the shipping rate schedule announced by Air China Cargo. The new schedule will be valid for one year from April 1, 2011 to March 31, 2012. However, Specific Commodity Rate (SCR) will be applied only to general cargoes. |
| 4. Centralized Clearing Freight |
Convert IATA ADD-ONS to the currency of the departure country using the appropriate conversion factor and process IATA settlements three times annually. (February 1, June 1 and October 1) |
| 5. Offline Range Freight |
Refer to IATA Agreement and Freight standards which expired on March 31, 2011. |
| 6. Extra Freight |
Extra fees, like air cargo security charges (SC) and hazardous materials processing fees (RA), have been approved by the government, and the standard remains the same as before.
The information required on the air freight bill has not changed. |
