Same as CLASS 9. * Submission of a written confirmation of exemption to PACTL is required if truck forwarding via PVG is used. |
Effective June 9, 2011
REMARKS
| *1→ |
Dangerous goods with possible significant impact listed in IATA DGR 2.8.4 CA-11 and 1.6.3.3 are not acceptable on passenger flights. (See the box below for details.) |
 |
Acceptance conditions
applied to cargoes to
PEK and PVG should
also be met. |
| *2→ |
Dangerous goods in CLS1, CLS2, and CLS6 (both primary and subsidiary risks) are not acceptable in truck forwarding via Beijing. Please contact us in advance for transport of CLS7 materials because a special vehicle needs to be arranged.
All cargoes excluding those to TSN and CLS9 to other destinations are handled as chartered service (cargoes to Hangzhou, Chengdu, Chongqing, Hefei, Jinan, Taiyuan, Shijiazhuang, Harbin, Zhengzhou, Hohhot, Changsha, and Lanzhou are handled as chartered service).
A truck charter fee will be separately charged in addition to the freight. Please ask us for price. |
| *3→ |
Dangerous goods in CLS1, CLS6 (both primary and subsidiary risks), and CLS7 are not acceptable in truck forwarding via Pudong. Cargoes excluding dry ice for cooling purposes are handled as chartered service.
A truck charter fee will be separately charged in addition to the freight. Please ask us for price.
When chemical dangerous goods are included in a cargo, a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) should be attached on M.AWB (outside the pouch) and submitted when documentation are brought in.
Make sure that an MSDS includes the name and category (IATA DGR Class, UN number) of the material as well as procedures to be taken in an emergency situation and the contact information.
If an MSDS is enclosed in an envelope and is attached to the pouch, we cannot open it. Make sure to attach it as it is outside the pouch, without using an envelope.
Please note that we cannot guarantee that the cargo is taken on a booked flight unless an MSDS is submitted in accordance with the specified method. |
| *4→ |
Only CLS9 goods are acceptable in truck forwarding via Pudong. Cargoes excluding dry ice for cooling purposes are handled as chartered service. A truck charter fee will be separately charged in addition to the freight. |
| * Dangerous goods that are not acceptable on passenger flights indicated in *1, and dangerous goods that are acceptable in domestic truck forwarding indicated in *2 and *3 |

NOTES
| 1) |
Dangerous KEEP COOL/FROZEN goods (including dangerous goods in excepted quantities) can be stored only at refrigeration facilities in Pudong, Dalian, Shenzhen (all classes), and Beijing (CLS2.1, 3, 4.1, 4.2, 5.1, 5.2, and 9 only).
At a refrigeration facility in Chengdu, only dry ice for cooling purposes can be stored.
To use refrigeration facilities in Shenzhen or Chengdu, advance contact (booking of the facilities) is required at the time of reservation. |
| 2) |
Contact us in advance for transport of dry ice on CA152, CA406, and CA422 because some aircrafts do not have a ventilation system. |
| 3) |
For cargoes to a third country, please refer to the "CA list of third country locations accepting dangerous goods" at right and [Remarks concerning CA list of third country locations accepting dangerous goods] below.
Please also refer to the State Variations in the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations. |
| 4) |
Liquid dangerous goods contained in single packaging or composite packaging considered as single packaging should be over-packed regardless of the type of packaging.
Please also be advised that the following conditions apply to liquid dangerous goods accepted on manually loaded aircrafts.
(1) Each over-pack containing single or composite packaging should weigh G.W.100kg or less.
(2) Regardless of the number of packages and weight, make sure to put a handle or a handgrip on the over-pack.
(3) When two or more single packages are over-packed, please use a buffer or take other measures to avoid breakage and leakage due to collision of the packages inside the over-pack during transport. |
| 5) |
Please note that cargoes containing dangerous goods or dry ice for cooling purposes are not acceptable by freight collect. |
| 6) |
When sending cargoes with multiple risks, subsidiary risks should be fully considered.
We ask you to declare all risks at the time of booking regardless of the destination. |
[Remarks concerning CA list of third country locations accepting dangerous goods] *See table at right
| * |
CLS 1-9 dangerous goods are acceptable at locations in the table. Please also pay attention to the State Variations in the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations. |
| * |
We do not accept dry ice and any dangerous goods in air forwarding to third countries not listed in the table. |
| * |
This does not apply to RFS. Please contact us for details. |
| * |
Truck forwarding is subject to dangerous goods transportation rules of a truck company and an additional charter fee may be charged.
Please ask us for details at the time of booking. |
