Information on Aircraft Model Changes on Japanese Routes in 2012
Beginning on March 25, 2012, Air China will change its aircraft models for partial flights on Japanese routes to provide their customers with the opportunity to enjoy larger, more comfortable aircraft.
Note: This information is for reference only and is subject to change in case of capacity shortage. Actual aircraft model depends on specific flights.
- Beijing – Osaka route *Subject to Government approval:
Beginning on March 25, 2012, flights CA161/CA162 will be operated by an Airbus 321(A321), which replaces the original Boeing 737-800 (B738).
- Beijing – Tokyo route *Subject to Government approval:
Beginning on March 25, 2012, flights CA167/CA168 will be operated by an Airbus 321 (A321) which replaces the original Boeing 737-800 (B738).
- Shanghai Pudong - Osaka route *Subject to Government approval:
Beginning on March 25, 2012, flights CA163/CA164 will be operated by an Airbus 340 (A340) to replace the original Boeing 737-800 (B738); flights CA921/CA922 will be operated by an Airbus 340 (A340) to replace the original Airbus 321 (A321). However, the Wednesday flight will still be operated by the original A321.
- Shanghai Pudong –Tokyo Narita route *Subject to Government approval:
Beginning on March 25, 2012, flights CA929/CA930 will be operated by an Airbus 340 (A340) which replaces the original Boeing 777-200 (B772). Flights CA919 /CA920 will be operated by an Airbus 321 (A321) which replaces the original Airbus 320 (A320).
- Shanghai Pudong- Fukuoka route *Subject to Government approval:
Beginning on March 25, 2012, flights CA915/CA916 will be operated by an Airbus 320 (A320) which replaces the original Boeing 738 (B738).
